No.: Normally, Buspar is started at 7.5mg twice daily; after a month, dose is increased to therapeutic 15mg twice daily dosing. If there is not an adequate response, then the dose can be increased to 30mg twice daily. You may feel funny after you take Buspar; you just took the usual 15mg/day starting dose -- should be no problem.
