Which stage of prostate cancer is considered "bad"?

Outside the prostate: Overall survival of prostate cancer is fairly good. However, higher stage prostate cancers have worse prognosis, from i-iv. Stage iii cancers tend to be outside the prostate and stage IV cancers have gone elsewhere in the body. These cancers may require more extensive or multiple treatments.
