I found out i was pregnant on the 1st of march. i went to see a gp who then advised that i am roughly 5 weeks pregnant and should only start attending antenatal classes at from may. do you agree?

Prenatal classes: Whenever the classes are conducted ( May is certainly in time enough to start) is a good time . Sometimes miscarriage can occur in the first month or two of pregnancy, so after the 8th week of pregnancy should be relatively a "safe" time to begin.

More specific?: Well, if you found out you were pregnant on March 1st - you are MORE than 5 weeks by now. So for you - you just need to take prenatal vitamins, and get seen for your first visit by the end of April. As for classes - not sure what you mean - but most women do birthing classes towards the end of their pregnancy
