Goiter: Before thinking about surgery, how are you feeling right now? Are you able to swallow without any difficulty? Do you feel awkward about your appearance in public? If your answer is yes to either one especially the first, I would consider surgery. Set up an appointment with your doctor to review your labs and find out what his thoughts are.
