Nerve irritation: Shooting pain is due to nerve impingement, entrapment, inflammation in the spinal nerves exiting the bony spinal column. It can be difficult to stop once it gets started. Likely due to the fall 2 weeks ago. See a Doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
