Diagnosed with cpps 5 months ago. cystoscope, rectal ultrasound, psa test normal. no pain since taking antiobiotics + alpha blockers. taking 5mg hytrin now, only symptom is urine stream weak max9.8ml.; 3 months prior it was 8.4. room for optimism?

Prostate?: All these findings seem to suggest more than chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS), but perhaps prostate hypertrophy (enlargement) with urinary obstruction. Keep working with your doctor. Good luck.
