Enlarged prostate: Those symptoms are signs of an enlarged prostate partially blocking the urine flow, common in men as they age. If it gets suddenly worse there can be a uti. Medication can help with this problem, so you don't have t get up multiple times a night to urinate.

BPH: Sounds like BPH(benign enlargement of postate),very common.May be a good idea to see urologist who will most likely do a baseline uroflowmetry in which you showup with a full bladder & void in an electronic device to measure how fast the stream is. It is more accurate than verbal description.Residual urine will be checked by sono. Likely you get Rx for alpha blocker such as tamsulosi. Nothing bad.
