Been nearsighted for many years. after age 40,i had problems in reading regular&online books&documents with nearsighting lenses.have progressive lenses but have problem using the reading part of the lenses.using my eyes to read books well.presbyopia?

Presbyopia - yes: These are the classic symptoms of presbyopia and you are in the perfect age for this to happen. Check with an ophthalmologist to get an improved pair of eyeglasses as your progressives should work well if done properly.
