Ovarian pain ?: Right lower abdominal pain from appendicitis is not related to the onset of a period, causes nausea, low grade temperature, and gradual increase in the amount of localized pain. Ovarian pain with your period might also be "one sided", but is not accompanied by a temperatue or nausea, in general, and does not escalate in severity over a short interval of time. See your provider for other testing.
