Why did i get hives after taking tylenol when ive taken it so many times before? not taking it right now cause of it. why didnt it happen before?

Allergic reaction: It may be a delayed hypersensitivity reaction. You can take a medication for a while and then all of a sudden have an allergic reaction. The other thing that it can be is if you took a different brand of Tylenol. You may not be allergic to the acetaminophen but may be allergic to one of the fillers. Hope this helps
