A member asked:

Hard to say: The vaccine has evolved over several years to include protection from more strains. The newest one covers 2 wart & 7 cancer associated strains, well beyond the earlier 2 or 4 strain forms. Your relationship status & risk of outside exposures factors in. The vaccine provides no protection/help for strains acquired before it is given. In the US insurers usually only cover it for age 9-26.
