How infectious am i? i am awaiting sputum culture results to confirm whether i have mdr tb. in the interim,i have been placed on rifafour. how infectious will i be once on these meds for 2 weeks? will it assist in any way?

Uncertain: If you have MDR TB, it is best to remain in isolation and use a hankerchief when you cough. Also avoid coughing directly into the face of anyone. You should await for lab report which can show if the drug/s you are using is effective. This test for Drug sensitivity takes 2-3 weeks and it will serve as a guide to your questions.
