Why do you ask?: Expect to wait eight weeks to be certain. The decision, in the meantime, is whether to treat you for presumptive tuberculosis. Make the decision with your physician's guidance. I had a fever and x-ray shadow, weight loss and positive PPD but never grew any bugs; treatment still probably saved my life. Best wishes.
