Hard to say: White patches sometimes just represents healing skin with less pigment. It may need nothing at all but time for the skin to complete healing. If the area breaks out often a barrier material like zinc oxide or petroleum jelly may be protective. I would need to see it to know, which we cannot do on this forum.
