Months: It depends how much radiation was delivered to some extent, but this is often fairly standard dosing. You should expect hoarseness for 4-6 months in many cases and could be longer. Make sure you keep well hydrated to thin the mucus in your throat and larynx. Keep the humidity high in the home and bedroom. Give it time to heal.
