Not recommended: Your symptoms of coughing, nasal congestion, and hoarse voice are more suggestive of a viral infection which does not respond to antibiotics. In addition, amoxicillin suspension loses its effectiveness after 14 days so it would no longer have the same effectiveness as it did when first prescribed. Taking a few doses causes drug resistant bacteria. If you are not improving in 5 days, see you MD
