A member asked:

I had surgery 5 weeks ago for removal of my right fallopian tube. on average when do women start their period again, as i havent yet. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tube removal: If your Fallopian tube was removed secondary to an ectopic pregnancy, regular menses could resume in about six weeks. If for another reason not related to pregnancy, your menses should resume sooner than "five weeks" post surgery. Obtain a serum HCG level to make certain pregnancy is not the cause for the delay.
