Test: If in doubt about sexually transmitted diseases test. Syphilis and all sexually transmitted diseases should be treated as soon as discovered. Late stages may be hard to recognize and the damage they cause may be irreversible. Talk to your PCP about getting tested for a full sexually transmitted panel as early treatment will make a difference.
