Blood test:pregnancy: A serum test for HCG is extremely accurate, and clomid by itself will not cause a "false positive". If you received a shot of HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) to accomplish ovulation in addition to using clomid, the pregnancy test may show "positive" due to the HCG shot, and not reflect that pregnancy has occurred. Get another HCG test in about three weeks if no period has occurred.
