A member asked:

What side effects are there when taking galvus (for diabetes)... does it effect the upper abdominal area more than usual, i.e. slight cramping, nausea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Galvus: If you're taking other antidiabetic medication like metformin with Galvus,I would suspect that the metformin would be more apt to cause abdominal distress. Serious side effects of galvus include inflammation of pancreas or liver. Therefore notify your physician if you continue to experience abdominal symptoms.
