Proper hygiene: Utis are more common amongst women. They are much more prevalent when a female first becomes sexually active. Emptying your bladder on regular intervals and after sexual activity usually helps. Also wiping from front to back helps. As well as keeping hydrated by drinking plenty of water. If problems persist you will need further assessments by your doctor.

The following: Drink lots of water. Urinate after sex. Don't go too long between urinations and don't suppress urge to urinate. Separate thighs widely when you urinate, means pulling panties, pantyhose and pants down to the ankles, his prevents urine trapping in vagina. Shower rather than bathe and dont use bubble-bath. Avoid wearing thongs. Treat proven UTI with appropriate antibiotics.
