I had coxsackie virus a few weeks ago with the main symptom being tonsillitis & now i have developed tonsillitis again. is it recurring or tonsillitis?

Recurring tonsillitis: You would not become infected by the same strain of any virus the 2nd time. However, the tonsils are structures that are prone to infection by any germ you ingest. Recurrent tonsillitis does not imply the type of germ (viral or bacterial), just the structures involved.
