I was supposed to has my implanon implant removed last year september. are there any complications relating to having it in after it's removal date? also where can i get it removed?

3 year approval: Nexplanon is approved for 3 years. It should be removed if it has been longer and it may no longer be reliable. There are no complications in being in your arm except that it may not work and you could get pregnant. Any Obgyn or pubic health clinic in your area should be able to remove the device
