A member asked:

I had a salpingectomy in november 2014. i am a week late. could i be pregnant? ive taken a pregnancy test and it was negative.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: The chance of pregnancy after salpingectomy is extremely low and near impossible. It is much more likely that late menses in this case is caused by hormonal fluctuations. Consider making an appt with an obgyn if no menses after another week
