A member asked:

I had a kidney transplant last year august and would like to go back onto a oral contracetive with a very low estrogen level, i am on ecotrin 81mg?

Low dose bcp's: Bcp's are available with lower estrogen components, but breakthrough bleeding is common unless one takes the active pills punctually (within the hour of the preceding day). Ask your gyn provider to recommend a low dose oral contraceptive.
