A member asked:

6/7 weeks pregnant some spotting then bit bleeding no cramps. uti and on antibiotics now p test came back negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Some early pregnancies don't make it. When a pregnancy test is positive, and a follow-up test is negative, there may have been a short-lived pregnancy. That naturally happens and is not worrisome unless there are recurrent early miscarriages. On the other hand, one of the test results could be wrong (usually are very accurate). A primary care doctor or Ob-Gyn doctor can help sort out the symptoms.
