Cpk test came back at 5675. he states that is looks like he has lost leg and arm muscle mass and his muscles feel week and sore all the time. everything i can find is pointing toward a muscle disease.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, elevated CPK points to muscle disease but does not provide a more specific diagnosis.

See MD: All lab results must be interpreted in the context of a full medical history, list of medications and current medical conditions, and all other essential components of a proper evaluation. Likely need a rheumatology consultation. Age? On a Statin? Follow up with ordering physician ASAP. Stay calm and see the MD. Good luck.
