LEEP: A LEEP procedure removes a layer of cells off the top of cervix when precancerous cells (cervical dysplasia) is present. A LEEP procedure does not impact fertility. Depending on the depth of the surgery there is some risk of preterm labor in subsequent pregnancies. Your surgeon can go over how deep the LEEP procedure was done and advise if any precautions will be needed
