Cranberry: acts as an ANTI-SEPTIC ( it LOWERS the bacterial count) in the urine it does NOT cure or eliminate a urinary tract infection...you need a course of antibiotics to do that...A urine sample m,ay be useful...consult your GYN or Family Physician! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
