I'm wondering what effect does msg (monosodium glutamate) have on blood pressure?

MSG Increases BP: There are data suggesting that monosodium glutamate increases blood pressure by 2-6 mmhg. This is similar to the effect of table salt. I would advise including only small amounts of msg in your diet if you have high blood pressure.
