No known time: Vitamin k is important in the body for the formation of coagulation factors which will ultimately aid in the coagulation process. It's administration will help bleeding to stop if the person is deficient (and timing differs depending on the wound location, depth, etc) but this not always the case, as some bleedings are caused by other reasons.
