Rectocele: Light weight lifting shouldn't affect a rectocele. Heavy weight lifting could put extra pressure on the prolapse and cause it to become worse. Regular kegel exercises will help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Also making sure to avoid constipation and having to strain very hard with bowel movements by drinking lots of water and taking fiber is a good idea. Also discuss with your OBGYN
