Very common: Lots of things can cause fever with normal blood counts, including many common and mild viral infections (colds, influenza, bronchitis, intestinal infections, etc) and many non-infectious causes. The likely causes in any particular case depend on other symptoms. And do you have true fever, ie measured body temperature over ~38C? In any case, if fever is gone now, probably nothing to worry about.
