This may well be: a normal post-operative sensation, but I believe it is worth a call to your surgeon to report it. If you have any oozing or slow bleeding problem post-procedure, I think you would be noticing more symptoms than this, but it is probably worth running it by her/him. Good wishes:)

Post phlebectomy.: Usually post microphlebectomy and sclerotherapy the treated veins will initially get hard or the area of the microphlebectomy may get hard. This can give you the sensations that you feel. Wet warm compresses to the area and ibuprofen should help. Follow up with your treating physician.
