Breast fibroadenoma: Breast fibroadenomas are firm, movable, and rubbery on palpation. They are notably non cancerous, but are often confused with cancerous growths and removed if large to allay apprehension. Talk to your surgeon about this matter and continue your breast self exams while noting any changes in this mass and any others you palpate by immediate notification to your MD.
