Doctor can examine: Any new baby less than one or two months old who is having unusual symptoms should be examined by her pediatrician, to see if there is a problem, what the problem is, and what the treatment is. Pediatricians can usually guess what the problem is, just by talking with the parents, but getting an exam is better than talking on the phone, when the baby is so young.
