NIGHTTIME ASTHMA: You might have nocturnal asthma among other things and a peristent asthma. You likely need more than just a rescue inhaler. A thorough evaluation will establish your diagnosis and lead to appropriate therapy.

Possibilities: At least 2 by far likely. 1 would be severe reflux and a dose of Omeprazole or Pantoprazole at night and for a trial might help. Another one would be uncontrolled asthma and addition of a steroid inhaler for a trial should help. The most important would be separating dinner by at least 3 h from bedtime. Hope it helps.
