My 2 year old has developed a very strong odor of urine on her breath. she is also holding herself and crying when she pees. possibly unlrelated but she also won't eat. she's had a ua and it's clear but that's it. ?

Confusing question: A 2 yo will often develop local irritation around the pee hole if they sit in soapy bath water & the genitals are not completely rinsed with clean water before exiting. Nothing about her breath has to do with her pee. If she has weird breath it may be a metabolic issue as part of an illness (not eating) and would deserve a visit to sort out.
