Virus: A viral flu like infection is likely. Treatment consists of resting, drinking adequate amounts of liquids and taking Tylenol for relief of headache and generalized aching. Drinking flat ginger ale helps settle nausea. Worrisome symptoms would be rising fever, worsening of headache and stiff neck as well as increasing drowsiness. These worsening symptoms would warrant a prompt examination by MD.
