Cold symptoms : Not sure what those medications are but speak to your local pharmacist for help. Use cool mist humidifier and lots of fluids

Alerid + Mucolyte: Alerid is cetirizine an antihistamine most often used in treating allergy symptoms such as runny nose. Mucolyte is bromhexine an expectorant that helps to mobilize respiratory secretions. The two meds can be used together however most cold symptoms resolve on their own.
