What would the cause be of bruising under my eye the morning after a fall backwards with no trauma to the eye?

Hitting nose or face: If you hit your nose or face, this could cause it. Many times, we are so busy falling that we don’t recall what else could have impacted. Also, if you are being abused, get help. If you fell while intoxicated, talk to your doctor. An isolated impact to the back of your head would not cause bruising to your face
