Try again: If she vomits immediately following dosing you may try to give the dose again. If any time has passed, 15-30 minutes or more since administration of the medication, i generally do not recommend giving the dose again. If she vomits after the second attempt, contact your pediatrician.

Check w/ your doctor: If your baby is taking an antibiotic, the dosage has been specifically calculated based on your baby's weight. In many instances it may be advisable not to repeat the dose if there is a chance that your baby may have absorbed some of it as too much medication may cause side effects. It is best to check with your doctor to determine the best plan. If vomiting persists, you may need to change meds.

May repeat the dose: If it happens immediately after you may repeat the dose but not if it happens later.
