Why?: can't you find a doctor? Never use anyone else's medication. Consult a psychologist for relaxation techniques and speak to a medical doctor regarding newer therapies for insomnia. Not sure what you mean by "can't find a doctor". Consult local hospital referral services or your local county health clinic.

Insomnia: Getting a good night's sleep is very important for physical and mental health. Insomnia might be due to several different reasons. First have a complete physical exam by a Dr. to rule out an underlying biological problem. If no problem consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy that helps you change and benefit from medication prescribed by a Psychiatrist. You may need a sleep study.
