Blood exposure: Blood can carry disease & spread to another person. The other person would first have to have an active contagious infectious disease like hepatitis b, hepatitis c, or HIV. If you know the person, you can ask about their medical history. Even then the transmission is unlikely. Being vaccinated provides protection from Hepatitis B. Option to test for Hepatitis C and HIV & consider treatment.
