Muscle spasm: Very common with some move - overstrain . 2 st put ice than heat . Gentle massage, icy hot gel etc.. Physical therapy’ always good. Ok to use Ibuprofen or similar for pain . If no better see doctor - possible prescription for “ muscle relaxant “.

Trap: Sounds like strain to trapezius muscle. NSAID and warm COMPRESS. May take another 3 to 5 days to resolve.

Strain: This could simply be a strain of the trapezius muscle and neck, but a pinched nerve is also a possibility if turning your head to the left doesn't also cause the pain. Either way,at this time I recommend avoiding strain on the neck. Taking an anti-inflammatory medication like Advil or Aleve may also help. If symptoms persist or worsen, get examined by your physician or orthopedic specialist
