Trig and ldl differ: Triglycerides and LDL are different things. Trigs go up wtih diabetes, nephrotic syndrome (a kidney problem), after very fatty meals (if you ate for example a cheeseburger right before test), and high trigs can be genetic (runs in the family). U need a recheck of your triglycerides, and treatment if they are still up like that. >500 i usually treat, because u can get pancreatitis if that hi.
