Low wbc and lymphs: At times a wbc of 3800 may be normal(benign leukopenia),but in these cases the red cell series, platelets and white cell differential counts are normal values or percentages. With low lymphocyte percentage and low total wbc, autoimmune disorder is suspected. I feel that a hematologist would be best qualified to evaluate and advise you.

How do you feel?: I trust you are HIV negative and do not have sarcoidosis or lupus. If you feel well, I would stop worrying.some folks simply run a low count like this for a lifetime. I suspect this is a mild genetic variant with lymphocytes preferring to hang out in the tissues rather than circulate. Lab reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside. Stay fit & relax.
