Many questions ???: Properly done surgical abortions do not give someone PID, although any such procedure would have a small risk of an infection in the womb. It would be obvious within days. BV, UTI's & yeast does not give you PID although someone can have both at the same time. The primary causes of PID include the STD's gonorrhea and chlamydia.
