Reaction: Certainly sounds like a reaction of some type, possibly an allergic reaction. Don't hesitate to be seen for it. Steroids are often used to help, particularly if it is felt to be allergic in etiology.

Allergy : Sounds like you had an acute allergic reaction to one of the foods you ate .Take Benadryl 50 mg now and repeat in 4 to 6 hours if not clear. If you develop tightness in your throat or difficulty breathing go to the ER STAT.
