Watchful waiting: The flu can cause pneumonia so the child should be monitored and if respiratory distress occurs they should be taken to a clinic. Chicken pox can cause skin infectiosn so paifule red sores indicate that is occurring they may also develp pneumonia so agsain if respiratory distress occurs they need to go to a clinic.
